Candlelight Tours of the Missouri Governor's Mansion

Enjoy the residence in full holiday decor. Governor and First Lady Parson will meet and greet guests as they view the Mansion by candlelight, adorned with sparkling lights and lush greenery. Guests are also welcome to bring any new or unused toys to donate to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Tours will be held from 6-9 pm on Friday, December 2 and 6-8 on Monday, December 5.

83rd Annual Jefferson City Jaycees Christmas Parade

Head to downtown JCMO and enjoy floats, marching bands, and, of course, candy! This year's theme is A Musical Christmas. Registration information for parade floats can be found here.

Capital City Festival of Lights 

Join in on the holiday fun at Binder Park for a drive-thru light park, built on a wooded roadway and choreographed to your favorite holiday tunes. This fundraiser is open to the public and all proceeds go to help local charities. Tour starts at Binder Lake Road off Rainbow Drive.

Lincoln University's Holiday Extravaganza

You’re invited to Lincoln University’s Holiday Extravaganza! Get in the holiday spirit by joining the Blue Tigers for a special Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, plus holiday caroling by the Lincoln University Choir and area high school choirs. Stay afterward for crafts, a variety of holiday activities, pictures with Santa and a souvenir at Santa’s Workshop inside Scruggs University Center. We look forward to kicking off the holidays with you! Events will begin on Lincoln University’s Quad in front of Memorial Hall.

Porchfestmas

Merry Porchfestmas! A new holiday themed event, this is a condensed version of the main Porchfest JCMO festival. Come enjoy Porchfestmas as we fill the streets full of Christmas cheer. There will be holiday music, holiday lights and decorations, a Christmas craft, hot cocoa and cider, snacks, and of course...SANTA!

Capitol Caroling

Join in the holiday tradition at the Jefferson City Public Schools Capitol Caroling event in the Capitol rotunda. Performances include traditional holiday numbers and special selections by the symphonic band, high school orchestra, and high school choirs.

Skate with Santa

Santa is making an appearance at Washington Park Ice Arena! Join him for a lap around the rink to help him work up an appetite for all those cookies and milk. Drop some Christmas list hints while making a lap with the man in red.
