Landing After Hours: Murder and Mayhem in Jefferson City

The first century of the wilderness-born Missouri capital was grieved by prison escapes, theft, murder, Volstead Act violations, and a "law-and-order" sheriff whose deputies broke the law in the name of maintaining it. Please join author Michelle Brooks as she shares her collected samples of some of the shocking events of Jefferson City's early history.

Doors to the building will open at 6:30, and the program will begin at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.
