Landing After Hours: Missouri Germans at Statehood

Two German Missourians were among the forty-one delegates elected to the Constitutional Convention in 1820. What did they do at the convention and afterward? What shifts in political views did they witness between statehood and the Civil War? Join Missouri State Museum Interpretive Aide Stephana Landwehr as she shares historic maps, images, documents and more on Missouri's earliest German-born citizens.
