Join local historian Henry Gensky as he discusses the artwork in the Senate chamber and lounge in the Missouri Capitol. The program will feature the artwork of Richard Miller, including the stories of the four largest paintings in the Senate chamber, the second-floor painting above the governor's elevator, and the stained-glass window Miller designed. Gensky will also discuss the tapestries in the Senate lounge.
The Missouri State Museum's Landing After Hours program is held the first Wednesday of each month at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, located at 100 Jefferson St. Doors to the Lohman classroom will open at 6:30 p.m., and the program will start at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.
