Join! Save! Buy! Exhibit at the Rozier Gallery

Propaganda posters in World War I were used to promote the war through a sense of patriotism, adventure, honor, and protection. Throughout the course of the war, the United States commissioned nearly 3,000 different posters.

"Join, Save, Buy: World War I Posters on the Home Front" will examine a selection of these historic pieces of art. This exhibit was done in collaboration with Truman State University whose students helped plan, research, and write for the exhibit.

The posters, collected by E.M. Violette and donated to the Pickler Memorial Library and Special Collections at Truman State University, will be on display at the Rozier Gallery March 5th- August 3rd.
