Join hundreds of volunteers from the surrounding communities as they work to clean the banks of the Missouri River along Jefferson City by boat. On Saturday, October 19th, volunteers will gather at Wilson's Serenity Point to work in teams to remove recent flood and tornado debris as well as tons of illegally and improperly disposed of trash from the banks of the Missouri River. Volunteers will arive at 9:00 am to be fitted for life jackets and put into teams before heading out on the Big Muddy for a morning of stewardship. Volunteers will be brought back to the boat ramp around noon for a hot lunch, live music, and a lively trash contest.
