The Saturday show and shine is like no other as the city streets of downtown Jefferson City bloom bright with beautiful dogwood trees and the river city architecture of Missouri's state capital is a true feast for the eyes. The show opens bright and early at 8:30.

Get ready for some great music and fun in the sun! There will be food trucks and a beer garden, with three wonderful bands: GrajMahal, Megan Boyer Band & BagLunch!

Come dance in the streets at the first Thursday Night Live of the season! On May 16, enjoy live music from Zero to Ninety, a high-energy ‘90s alt-rock cover band.

Armed Forces Weekend Celebration

Enjoy the annual event at the Museum of Missouri Military History. Re-enactors will be on site with exhibits from various wars and conflicts ranging from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War.

Stars Under the Stars

Enjoy your favorite movies on a giant inflatable screen under the starts. Bring your family to the South Capitol Lawn with lawn chairs, snacks, and blankets to enjoy family-friendly movies. May’s feature will be A Dogs Way Home. Movie starts at dusk.

Head to Capitol Avenue to enjoy gorgeous classic vehicles at the Capitol Cruise In! Held on the last Saturday of every month through September.

For the People Pow Wow

Pow Wows are the Indigenous people's way of meeting together, joining in dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships, and making new ones. Events such as these are meant to renew and preserve the rich heritage and culture of the Indigenous people.
