• About the Map Key TOP

  The map key lists all the points of interest and their categories on the map.

  Here you can get contact information about a point of interest as well as find it quickly on the map.

• Using the Map Key TOP

  Open the map key by clicking the "Map Key" Button.

  The points of interest categories are listed.

  Click the arrow button to expand the categories and view the points of interest

  Click FIND move the map the point of interest's icon.  (It will begin to bounce)

  Click INFO to open the point of interest's information window.

  Click the button with a sign to add the point of interest to your Trip Planner itinerary.

• About Areas TOP

  The areas button lists specific regions of the map.

• Using Areas TOP

  Clicking on an area will zoom into that area and highlight it on the map.

• Trails TOP

• About Trails TOP

  The trails tool lists and maps out all of the trails available in the area, from hiking and biking to driving tours and scenic byways.

• Using Trails TOP

  Select the trail that you wish to view.

  The trail will appear on the map, complete with each point of interest along the trail identified on the map, as well as a list view of all of the points of interest on the map, with contact information, descriptions and driving directions.

  Click the N, E, S or W button to increment the map a step in the appropriate direction.

  Click the star in the center to return to the map's center.

• Zoom TOP

  Click the - sign to zoom out or click the sign to zoom in on the map for a more detailed view.

• Navigator Window TOP

  The navigator window allows you to grab the box from the drop down map and drag it around the map to quickly jump from one point of the map to another.  The area that is included in the window will display in the main map viewing area.

• Map View TOP

  The Map View feature allows you to view the map in several different ways including the traditional road map view, satellite view, hybrid satellite view and terain view.

• About Share TOP

  Our Share feature allows you to share a link of the iMap to any specified email address or you can share and send your very own itinerary to multiple email recipients.

• Using Share TOP

  Click on the Share button to pull up your options for sharing the iMap.

  Clicking on the Send Link to iMap button allows you to send a public link of the iMap to any one email address.  Simply fill out the form and click send!

  Clicking on the Share My Trip Planner button allows you to share the iMap with your personalized Trip Planner.  Select the itinerary that you wish to send, fill out the form and click send!

• About My Itinerary TOP

  The My Itinerary feature allows you to create your own personalized itinerary.  Select the dates you are traveling to our destination, the points of interest you would like to visit, stay or eat at and print out driving directions and information for each stop on your trip.

• Using My Itinerary TOP

  To create your own itinerary, click on the Map It button on the bottom of the iMap.

  Next click on "Create a New Itinerary". 

  Give your itinerary a name and select the dates of your travel from the interactive calendar.

  Each day will be listed in order below the calendar.  You can add desitnations using the "Add Destination" button or you can click on the point of interest on the map and add it to your trip planner.  Using this option will place that point of interest under "Unassigned Destinations".  You will need to drag that destination to the appropriate day below.

  When you are finished creating your itinerary, click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen.  You will then be prompted to create a new account.  Fill out the required forms and hit submit to create your account.

  Once your account has been set up, you can share the itinerary, print it off and even map out your route complete with driving directions!

• About Sample Itineraries TOP

  Looking for an easier way to plan your trip?  Choose from a list of pre-planned itineraries that will provide you with a day by day breakdown of activities.

• Using Sample Itineraries TOP

  Select the Sample Itineraries button on the bottom of the iMap.

  Click on any of the itineraries from the list to view the details of that itinerary.

  Once an itinerary is selected, it will provide a summary of activities for each day.

  Click the Map Route button to view the route of the itinerary on the map.  Once this feature is activated, driving directions will appear in the summary of activities screen on the left.

  Whenever you are ready to select an itinerary, click on the print icon to print out your itinerary!

  The Points of Interest Pop Up Boxes provide detailed information about each point of interest on the map.

  Search for nearby points of interest

  Get local tips and recommendations

  Add the point of interest to your trip planner

  Share through social media links

• Using Point of Interest Pop Up Boxes TOP

  To view the Point of Interest Pop Up Box, you can either click on the Info button next to each point of interest on the map key, or you can click directly on the point of interest on the map.

  Once the pop up box appears, you can click on any image at the top to expand the media gallery for a more detailed view of each photo.  Close out the media gallery by clicking on the X in the upper right hand corner.

  Use the scroll bar to the right to scroll down the pop up box for more content.

  Clicking the Add to Trip Planner button will add the point of interest to your trip planner.

  Clicking on the social media icons will take you to the particular social media site for that point of interest.
