The state's first family invites you to tour their home to see its beautiful architecture and period furniture as well as learn about the history of many of the state's great governors. Free guided tours are provided throughout the year; the mansion is closed for tours the months of January, August and December.  Plan on your tour lasting 30-45 minutes. During April and May, tours are 15 minutes long to accommodate students from all over the state exploring Missouri’s art and history.

Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.  Please make your reservation at 573.751.2854 or with the Division of State Parks at this link.  24-hour advanced reservations are required for all tours. In the event Jefferson City schools are closed due to weather, tours will also be closed. Due to the Governor’s Mansion being a working building, tours and events are subject to cancellation at anytime.
